Bed bugs
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/09
I was in my room on the 4th floor for 30 minutes when I realized that there was something crawling on my back. It was a bed bug. I left the room with hope that there is nothing on my stuff. Watch out, travelling brings another problem!! Bed bug on top on this bad economy!

Garbage Hotel
By C. Scorzo, 07/01/09
Don't stay here, the staff is lacking experience, and clearly untrained, and unprofessional.

CLASS OPERATION
By r_mile, 10/01/07
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the facility, our experience was every bit of what we expected--- Top Shelf The pillows were the best I have ever put my head on. Staff were hospitable and the room was up to date and immaculate.

Awesome Hotel
By Tia, 02/01/07
My flight was delayed on my way back home to NC. The representative provided me with a beautiful room a few floors down from The Pent. King size bed...white plush linen...beautiful crystal chandeliers. The customer service was great...wine at my doorstep..timely PHL Aiport transprotation. Awesome hotel...I will definitely go back!

It is a Marriot, but this one is "so so" only
By DJ, 05/23/06
It is a Marriot, so I am expecting a "very nice" hotel. But, this one (Marriot at Philadelphia International Airport), the facility and the service are both "so so" only. It is still a nice place, compare with cheap motels. But compare with the other marriot/Hilton/Holiday Inn, this place need some improvement, both in the facility (for example, signs are not that clear) and service (for example, I am expecting a smiling face at the front desk).

Nice
By A, 09/13/05
We stayed at this hotel the night of our wedding because our flight was taking off for our honeymoon early the next morning. The rooms were very nice & comfortable. We ordered room service and the food was very good and came quickly.

A Mixed Bag
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/05
My room was 306, directly across from the banquet storage area, so I heard that door banging shut all day and all night as they put away tables and chairs. That room is also the last one on that corridor, and I think they forgot someone was in there, as I never got a newspaper in the morning - not a single day. The kitchen is under renovation so the meals are served in the lobby, and the buffet food (e.g., the breakfast meat)is NOT up to Marriott's standards. (They were working on the kitchen at 2:30 a.m. and I could hear the drilling in my room! They brought me portable fans to drown out the noise, but at 4:15 a.m., those same workers set off the fire alarm by accident, and we all had to evacuate.) Maid service was abysmal and very inconsistent. The "business Center" consists of one, sad little PC with a tiny screen and a single printer that didn't work the entire 10 days I was there. This hotel is also really out of the way if you want to catch lunch or dinner in town. The saving grace was that every employee I spoke with about these problems (and others)were really wonderful and cheerful about remedying the problem (or trying to). VERY professional staff!!
