Comfort inn Valentine, Valentine

Made reservations using internet. Then called hotel with AARP Numbers. Was told to bring card and present to clerk upon check in. DID SO AND DID NOT HONOR AARP. Called Coroporate. Front desk LIED to me and saifd said I did have the discount with AARP. SAID room is 119.95 a night! HANDICAP Room only one bed! Mother and son, traveling with us one had to sleep in recliner. To boot this is a Chamber of Commerce member!

It was very easy to find right off of the highway. The people are very friendly and were able to give us names of individuals to help us find a place to live as we are moving to the area. The breakfast was always good and the area always clean. I will refer others to this motel.

Stayed here twice in Sept 07. The people were very friendly and helpful. I thought the room was just slightly overpriced for a budget hotel, the service made up for that. Would definitely stay here again if I'm up that way. However, I would caution against eating at the steakhouse just across the way -- The Peppermill. The steaks were tough enough to resist the steak knife and the service was indifferent, just short of rude. Overpriced, too.

We stayed in Valentine for 3 nights and the last night we stayed at Comfort Inn. The price was the same as we had previously paid but the value was less than what we had. The pool was so full of chemicals, my daughter had a headache within minutes, my husband's swimsuit was bleached and I was unable to utilize the wireless service. The room was nicer and a little bigger and included a fridge and microwave but I would give those up to have pool and wireless that we could enjoy.
