Friendly, good price, quiet.

Nice quiet clean the staff was friendly. No pool or hot tub, reasonably priced for the area. And the choice of room types was nice, microwave and small refrigerator in room made it a good deal for family. The restaurant in the same drive made it convenient, plus near small plaza with grocery store and McDonalds. We stayed here for a family event; it is near the fairgrounds and just a few miles out of Philippi. They could update dÃ©cor a little and add hair dryers to rooms. Coffee in lobby was nice. Also they could put picnic table at end of building for smokers so they do not sit by front door. All in all it was great for the price. They except AAA discount. We will definitely stay here again. Nice, quiet place. Love the diner next to it. Come every July for our Family Reunion. Neat little hotel for the neat little town it's in.

I was on a trip to visit AB college in Philippi, the college recommended this place. Its very nice, clean rooms, clean hotel, nice staff, also the restaurant was nice. I would recommend this hotel anytime. See you guys in the fall. Thanks Class of 2012.

The Philippi Lodge, in Philippi, WV is a very pleasant place to stay. The rooms are very clean, the staff is very nice and very efficient. I have stayed at the Lodge for the past several years during family reunions, also. Highly recommend
