No manager to help me....
By matthew, 05/03/07
I booked 3 rooms for my group. The first 2 nights I could not get my internet to work, and when it did was very slow. I will mention the room was clean and service up until the last day was great. I finished my stay and went to check out and noticed $4.50 charge for the phone. I explained to the attendant that I had not actually made a call but simply called my cell phone to locate it and hung up before i answered. She stated that the phone billing was out of her control. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated there was no one onsite that could help me. It was 8:30 am and I had to leave by 845 to make my last meeting of the trip. I asked about getting a credit on my bill and was told to call back and talk to her manager. I instead called customer service and they informed me that it was up to that individual hotel to refund the charges. Since they could not help me with that I lodged a formal complaint with the rep on the phone letting them know there was not a manager on site at this time and I thought that was unacceptable at the busy time in the morning. I just got a call back nearly a week later and cannot get through to the manager again. NOT HAPPY!!! -Matt

Not the "Hampton Experience" we expected!
By Rick, 10/13/06
Reserved a deluxe king but arrived early and were placed in a standard room. Manager balked at moving us to the deluxe king and claimed all rooms are the same. Filled out the survey sent by the company and asked for a rep to contact me but no one ever did. 100% gurantee??????????

It's a little pricey...but, it's well worth it. Located next to great eateries...and is safe and secure.

Good deal for Athens
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/24/04
Very nice hotel and a very nice staff. This was not as close to UGA as we thought, but by and large it was a very good experience. We especially appreciated the breakfast and the attitude of the staff.
