Suite Paradise Poipu Shores, Koloa

We opted for a 2 bed 2 bath garden view for family. Much cheaper and we spent all day out and about, so who cares about the view at 3 am? The condo was very clean and pretty - most of Kauai has this preference for wicker and rattan indoor furniture. Comfy but perhaps not what a first-timer would expect. Food is NOT cheap!!! on Kauai so having a full kitchen w/ appliances saved us a lot of money! There's lots to do on the island if you're the outdoorsy type, with lots of hiking trails and tons of beaches. Na Pali and Waimea are must sees. Suite Paradise redesigned their condo rental site last summer so be sure to check out the pictures on the condo pages so you can see EXACTLY what you're booking. We've booked with Suite-Paradise several tims now - the Pick Condo feature is a little bit more $$$, but they're already the cheapest condo rental outfit on the island so you still come out better in the end, and you save a bunch when you stay for 7 nights instead of 6.

Suite Paradise advertises spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath condos. Not true. 1 good bedroom and bath, the 2nd is a tiny loft with the smallest bathroom i've ever seen. 7 tennis courts are listed under amenitiess for use, but they don't advertise that you have to pay $10 per person per day to use these courts. We had asked when booking for a unit with air conditioning, but we did not get that. The whole place was very dated and small.

Suite Paradise is a condo rental service for vacationers. We rented a condo from them March 2010. They advertised a "deluxe oceanfront condo with panoramic views" at Whaler's Cove. While Whaler's Cove is lovely, the view from our condo was FAR from panoramic. There are 2 buildings here, a front and back building, they put us in the back building (unit 220) and the ocean view was 50% obscured by the front building. No sunsets, and limited whale watching. Please don't say "panoramic views" if it's really "50% ocean views". We paid a premium over other units in the area for a panoramic view, and I felt shortchanged and lied to. The condo itself was very clean and bright. We had a drain back up on our 2nd day and SP sent someone right away, so it's not like the service was terrible. Also, their amenities vendor spcondoready.com was quite good, and sent us to several good activities. I'd recommend them regardless of Suite Paradise. But as to the panoramic view that they advertised in Whaler's Cove unit 220 -- no, it wasn't there, and I felt that Suite Paradise misrepresented the unit, and for that I'm giving them a low rating.

Suite Paradise claims Ocean Front units are 40-80 yds away. Not so, they are much further. The extra money charged is not worth it. The ocean views are as nice, less expensive, closer to the pool and grills for less money. There really isn't much of a beach, lot of rocks. The units, 2bd/2 bth were spacious, but the kitchens and baths were dated, very 1980's.

Loved the view. The rooms were wonderful and the service was great. It wou;d be a great place for a honeymoon or just to get away for the weekend!

Our first trip to Hawaii far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a small condo in the Sugar Mill cottages (part of Suite Paradise) and it was fantastic. No pests, no mildew, very clean with plenty of towels & pillows. We had our own garage for our rental car, a nice kitchenette, great washer and drier. The only downside is that it is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. We didn't really care because we would drive to a different beach every day anyway. The staff was wonderful with handling any problems. We only paid 99 a night DURING spring break. What a great deal!
