Sunrise Motel, Treasure Island

The Sunrise Motel was great value for the money. Our room was $49 and included a separate living area with table, couch 2nd TV and kitchenette, as well a bedroom with TV and lots of drawer space, and a bathroom. While it's not directly on the beach we could see the water from our window. There is a convenience store across the road and the motel is well-situated to all the attractions and restaurants in the area. The price at the Sunrise is substantially lower than many of the other family-run motels in the area (probably due to location) but we were very pleased to find a nicely-decorated, spotless motel in a good location. Who needs more than that?

Their motel rooms start at $35/night ! And for that you get an EXTREMELY CLEAN room with 2 beds,private bathroom,full size fridge and microwave.They also have bigger rooms with kitchens available.Daily maid service.You cant beat the price,and having a clean motel is very important to these owners.Whenever I was outside,there was always someone cleaning the rooms or the pool area.There is a 7-11 right accross the street for everything you may need.Sunbeach trolley stops right in front of the hotel.There is no high speed internet available (very few places have it over there),but local calls are only 50 cents per call. I would go back without a doubt if I was to go to Treasure Island again.

I thought the room was extremely clean, nicely decorated, very safe and very quiet. The pool was spotless. Although we are not handicapped, the motel was most handicapped accessible. The staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. I will certainly go back again and most definitely recommend to friends and family. Compared to other places I've been in that area of Florida this was by far one of the nicest places at a very reasonable price.
