Ten years of great hospitality and counting

I 'discovered' the Moriah by accident about 10 years ago when I was in Montana for a week's fishing. My son and I stayed there overnight - and ever since, the Moriah has been our home-away-from-home in Montana, which we visit for about 10 days every summer. It is incredibly clean, a 5-minute drive from the Ruby River, an excellent trout. The owners, Sherry & Frank, are wonderfully friendly, helpful, and we've grown to be good friends. A few years ago I suggested they apply to AAA for listing in the Montana Tour Guide and they were, not surprisingly, immediately approved. The rooms are large, comfortable, tastefully furnished, and always in excellent repair. Every room has a microwave and refrigerator, welcome amenities for people like me who like to be able to make breakfast in their room. Frankly, I can't imagine a trip to southwestern Montana that doesn't feature an extended stay at the Moriah.
