Convenient location if you are interested in being close to the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Also, rooms where you can see the Pyramids from are of low standard - equivalent to a 3* hotel. However, refurbished rooms in the hotel are of a very good standard, albeit slightly small. The rooms and bathroom is very kept, and to a very high standard. Some rooms you are shown, your view is a rubbish alley, select rooms on the ground floor so your view is the garden area, with easier access to the swimming pool.
Comfortable beds and the decor is very nice in the refurbished rooms. The food I had at the hotel was excellent. Entrance and exterior is under construction - tired looking. Security is not as tight as other places.
AC is very good and is everywhere in the hotel, the public toilets are also of a very good standard. I would rate staff hospitality no more than 3*, they are not well trained and some of them do not speak English.
There are 3 shops in the hotel, the internet cafe is very expensive - internet is slow and the computers are slow and the room is incredibly small. The other shops are also stupidly expensive. Shops outside the hotel are difficult to get to, you have to cross dangerous roads. Also, beyond the walls of where the swimming pool lies, is a busy bus stop. The amenities around the outlying area are O.K.
Food - excellent. Massive choice for all meals, and the buffet for breakfast was excellent. Room service took me 15 minutes to bring water, and 30 minutes to bring food.
