Worth it,
By Steve, 02/04/10
Pro's: Cost: it was around 36.00 a person, 42.00 for two people, with tax. And the location, Starbucks, Burgerville, Shari's, Fred Meyer etc. near by among others as well. Cons: (Not really a 'con' because i love curry and the smell) If you have any lack of respect for nationalities of others, and / or their choice of food they eat, then no, don't stay here. I think it smelled great. Yes the rooms had a slight musty smell, but it was clean and inexpensive and was a roof over our head. I agree with the above statement about "Not wanting to pay Hilton prices, but you get what you pay for" i was very satisfied. Next visit is Feb. 5th. Will stay here more often.

Don't know what the fuss is about??
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/10/09
This is not the Hilton, but then I don't want to pay Hilton prices. The 4 times we've been here, we have not experienced any problems. Visit number 5 is coming up. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Do NOT Stay Here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/06
I stayed here in May of 2006 and would not recommend this place to anyone. There is a strong curry smell everywhere. The furniture is very run down. The front counter people did not speak clear english, and the (so-called) continental breakfast was a Costco muffin and some instant coffee. It must be well known that this place is not good for lodging because for the few nights I was there, there were only one or two other guest who were also lodging. I later found near cost lodging very close by and have since steered my friends who were also traveling in the area to not stay at the Guest Motel.

Not Bad for price
By Heather, 04/17/06
Overall this wasn't a bad place to stay if you are limited on funds. The location was good, it was clean, and they had exactly what they advertised. Do not expect even 3 star quality, but it won't leave you feeling like you need to disinfect after staying there.

very clean and quiet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/03/05
I stayed here back in nov. 2004. It was the best deal in vancouver. The rooms were very clean, service was the best I have received in a hotel, and the price was just right. Very clean, and quiet place to stay. I highly recommed it.
