Ozark Regal Hotel, Branson

second time staying there, stayed 5 days and wow are they makeing a big change,new flat screen tv's,clean carpet,new airconditioners,and wow the pool area they have new awings and it's beautiful out there,everyone was so friendly and helpful,everyone has been there for years and that tells me it's not only a great place to stay but for them to work there,the housekeepers were so friendly,and the full hot breakfast why would you not want to eat there,they had everything and the person working the kitchen kept things so clean and nice looking,and never had to wait for fresh coffee,it was raining when we got there and you can park under their large front awing to unload your luggage and not get it all wet and the parking was level and did't have to walk up or down hills, and we ordered food from pizza next door and they delivered it to their pool area, and sl close to the shows and never have to be on 76 and the price was very budget friendly for a family, I will be back again this year it's aGREAT place to stay,we can't wait to go back and see what they have done different .

The location is great because you can get all around Branson from the hotel with very little driving on Hwy 76! And the parking lot is flat. I loved that the pool is outside so we could soak up some rays in the day and we liked to sit outside by the pool late at night which was romantic while the kids watched the flat screen TV in the room. Our room looked newly painted, the heating/cooling unit looked new, and the hall carpet may have been new. The desk clerk said they had been doing major renovations recently. Included with our room was a full hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravey, friuit, cereal, etc. The front desk person offered lots of tips about Branson concerning places to eat etc. I have stayed at this hotel before but did not remember it being this nice. We will be back!

This hotel was recommended by friends so we stayed there April 24th and 25th the rooms was clean the staff was friendly the beds were comfortable the price was great. Thanks alot P&R

For years now, all my cousins & our spouses have been staying at the Regal for our annual Roork Cousins Reunion in August. We certainly plan to return there for our August 2011 reunion too. We have a wonderful time at the Regal. It IS clean...VERY. The rooms are large & comfortable. The staff...from the manager, desk clerks, to the housekeeping staff are just the nicest people you could ever hope to do business with. They are just lovely people & they all work hard to see that our group is well cared for every year. Okay...it isn't real "fancy", but it is very pretty & they have been redecorating everything. I was very impressed with the changes last year. (Hmmm...I have stayed at some very "fancy" & very expensive hotels & found them not even nearly as clean & nice as the Regal.) The pool is sparkling & we love that it stays open late enough for it to be used AFTER all the day's activities. It is ALL no smoking & no pets. That is important to our group....even the smoker's & pet owners in our group prefer rooms that have not had other people's animals & old stale smoke smell in the sleeping areas. The breakfast? Okay, I'll admit that I liked the big "cooked" breakfast at Docker's better. But most of our group is just fine with the little breakfast bar at the Regal....It is adequate, clean, and FREE, for goodness sake!!! If you want something else...Docker's is still next door & has a very low-priced breakfast buffet. Go pay for breakfast there. Oh, yes....the elevator! Considering that we are all "seniors" in our group (or for anybody having to transport luggage to the second floor) we really appreciate the elevator. Our entire reunion group will highly reccommend the Regal Hotel & staff to anyone vacationing in Branson. And...if you are having a reunion...give them a try? The Regal is the place to stay. They will treat you like family. In case I sound like maybe I own the place....nope. And, not related to anyone there. Don't know the people personally. Don't own stock in the hotel. I'm not getting a paycheck for this review either. I'm just a satisfied customer...year after year. (Of course, after writing such a great review...I may be asking for a discount in the future.)

On the website it shows a great breakfast at the Docker's....the old owners took the place back and they do breakfast at the hotel now....it is nothing to brag about.....was very, very, disappointed.

This hotel was not at all the nice stay we had anticipated. The entire place smells of mildew and mold. The free wireless was not a strong enough signal to use. It is desperately in need of updating and renovation. There are so many other places to choose from here had we only known about the conditions ahead of time.

great service,staff, breakfast, what more can i say. will stay there again next time. special thanks to the lady who helped my wife who use a cane carry her coffee,thanks again. the little things like this are what makes a stay nice. see you again

Our tour group of 84 stayed here in June 2008, and I would choose to stay here again. It is located in a section much quieter than the strip and has a friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable with a good bed. Corridors are indoors with a convenient stairway as well as an elevator. The breakfast area is large, and I appreciated coffee being available in the afternoon.

Room was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful. Would consider staying there again. Price was reasonable. No pets allowed -- which we liked. A larger tv would have been nice but this wouldn't keep us from visiting again. Louisiana visitors

Very polite front desk staff. Room clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate with choices from cold or hot cereal, french toast and muffins, even biscuits and gravy. Cold milk and juicies were also available. The pool was clean and was open until 12am. Towels were available in the entry area to the pool strictly for pool use so you didn't have to use your room towels. Hot tub spa no longer in existence, but that was no big deal. Payment not required until check out and no security deposit charged. Very reasonable rates and room was reserved with a simple phone call and no credit card was required. Parking is level so you don't feel like you are going to tip over as with some of the other Branson motel parking lots. Area was nice and quiet and not overly crowded by other businesses. I have already recommended this place to my sister for when they next visit. I know my family really enjoyed our stay and will definately be repeat lodgers.
