Days Inn Gulfport, Gulfport

It stunk. My non-smoking room stunk of cigarettes. There was people yelling outside my room all night. In the morning they started up some machinery waking me up from what little rest I got. The Air conditioner knobs were missing. I will never stay here again.

the hotel was filthy dirty and the elevator and carpets were disgusting. would never had expected the Days Inn to be like this

I wished I had read the reviews before booking this hotel with a travel agent. They should be ashamed of the filth. First room non-smoking, smelled like smoke, sheets had not been change and there were fresh cigerette burns in the sheets. Reguested another room, was given one with the same problems. Ajoining room door would not lock. Toilets were fitlhy Wanted refund, we're told we would have to go through our travel agent even tho we PAID MR PATEL. Worst night of my life and I felt very unsafe. I am informing our booking agent of all this as well. My next night in a Hotel will not be owned by a Patel.

Thispicture is not true. I stayed at this motel on 08/01/09, my stay was unpleasant. The front desk clerk/J PATEL was not a peoples person. The room was full of roaches,once he was advised he said he would not refund my money. Roaches was everywhere, all over the bathroom eveb crawling over my niece as she tried to sleep. MR J. PATEL IS WELL AWARE OF THE PROBLEM WITH THE ROACHES, I SPOKE WITH SEVERAL EMPLOYEES AND THEY STATES HE GIVE THEM ROACH SPRAY TO SPRAY IN THE ROOMS INSTEAD OF CALLING PEST CONTROL.... MY STAY WAS HORRIBLE..............

I boked 2 rooms were very displeased one I went to both room. SMOKE smelling and both doors had cracks that any insect or rodent could crawl through bath room smelled. The internet is very misleading. Book at your own RISK. I will not book any more rooms there. Comforter set with cigarette burns and coffee stain all over furniture and very dusty.

I spent one night there. The first room i had the toilet would not flushand I could not get the very very very weak internet signal so i changed rooms and while moving my belongings the keys to both rooms were deactivated. After going out to dinner when I returned the key did not work again. Finally the room had roaches.

This had to be the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The toilet didn't work the whole time we were there. We had to flush it manuel. We asked them several times to fix it and that NEVER happened. The room smelt horrible. Supposed to be a non smoking room but that was wrong it smelt the smoke so bad. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. Your wasting your money. We asked for a discount for the 2 nights and only got back 20.00. I would not even let my pet stay in one of them room. Oh and the bed dipped so bad, we all woke up with back aches!!...I would not reccomend anyone to stay there.

This had to be the most awful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are dark with old out dated lighting, broke down furniture, the walls have cracks, missing pieces, just a nightmare. The bathroom, the bathroom, you can’t even turn around in it. The customer service is awful. I understand that the USA is a diverse country, however when I’m requesting service I expect to be understood, instead I felt as though the clerk increased his accent, when I called do to the bathroom not being cleaned for the 2nd time. Oh, and when it came time to clean the room the housekeeping took the time to write a note in very plain English that because we had a few clothes on the bed that it could not be made, however when it came time for complaints she could not understand and the sheets were not changed. In addition if you are looking to do a little work that or just search the net to find some hot spots don’t stay here, the clerk told me that I had to look for another wireless provided being that they don’t offer internet. So, as the title expresses PLEASE DON’T STAY HERE, there are several other hotels in the same area that are much nicer and I’m sure you will have a better experience.

First we checked in and they charded us $79 a night. Higher than most Days Inn but no big deal for the area if you get a nice clean room. The first room we were given had ANTS everywhere. We set our bag down before we noticed but when I went to use the phne to find out how to make the room cooler as it was HOT, I noticed ants on the phone, ants on the nightstand, ants all over the clock radio. We called and went and got our room changed. While leaving the room, we picked up out bag which had only been on the floor less than 5 minutes and it was covered in ants! Then we were given another room upstairs. Every single AC unit had a bucket of water under it because the units were leaking everywhere. Well, we went into the new room, pulled back the Bedspread and found roaches running across the bed. We went downstairs and requested to be checked out and credited. We receievd our credit and moved on down the road and stayed at the Best Western for $89 a night. Much cleaner hotel and defintely worth the extra $10 to be in a bug - free environment. The Health department should shut that Day's Inn down!
