Comfort Inn Luverne, Luverne

I had a gift certificate and we needed to add an extra nights stay that wasn't planned on our vacation. We arrived about 10 p.m.. It took the clerk about 30 minutes to figure out how to use the gift certificate. Her two children were running around and she was yelling at them. She made rude comments about her husband who was out front. There was a child's bicycle left out the in the parking lot just in front of the lobby entrance. We nearly ran it over. Grandma was around yelling at the kids, too. The clerk was just coming to the end of her shift. The room was decent. The breakfast was nice. Fresh, hot waffle was a nice addition, as was hard boiled eggs. The room was not clean. There was a button on the carpet and hairs all over the tub. That is always so gross! It was so late, though, that we didn't bother reporting it - I just cleaned it up myself before using it.

place was just ok-we asked for a smoking room,didn't get it,and they charged us more for each night than they quoted us when we booked it.when we complained it was just too bad for us.they were right and we were wrong according to the manager.we will not stay there again.

I travel about 4 times a month for my job and due to a snow storm ended up staying at the Comfort Inn in Luverne Mn. During my stay the pool was not open and the rooms were dirty...and the bed sheets were stained! Also the front desk attendant was not helpful or friendly...next time I will spent my 90 dollars somewhere (anywhere) else!

There was nothing spectacular about the place but they just seemed to do everything right. I travel a lot and increasingly find that courtesy is rare. Not here though. The people were great and the rooms were cleaned and correctly priced.
