Sea Vista Motel Reservations, New Smyrna Beach

dont listen to the prima donnas writing reviews, same vacationers who complain at every restaurant they go to trying to get something free....place is just as one would expect at location...on beach...pool...nice rooms and clean and well maintained....tiki bar with great staff and specials every day...not the hilton but clean and what u want in a getaway on the ocean..come visit for fun and relaxation and u will see what i am talking about

The employees were very friendly; however, the rooms were nasty. The freshly made beds had hair in them and I found this disgusting. The dishes in our efficiency were dirty as everything else. We were right by the pool and tiki bar and, yes ... it was like an episode of "Jerry Springer". Fights were common and so were the "gypsy shysters" who made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Although the price seemed to be a great bargain; we found that we got what we paid for. I will never stay there again.

The Sea Vista Motel was nasty. We stayed there for seven night. Only because I reserved it over the phone and they ran my credit card before we saw the room and there was a no refund policy. The beds were dirty, hard and the sheets had hair in them. The shower had mold in it and the enamal was chipping off. The toilet had pee around it which I had to go by cleaning supplies and clean up. The maid never cleaned the room. I had to go find her and ask for towels. The towels also had hair in them. We could only get two towels for four people. When I asked the maid for clean sheets she brought me some and told me I had to take the old ones off and put the new ones on. The pool was always full of locals that were not staying in the hotel. The paint was peeling off everything outside. The people were rude, wild, and drunk. The tiki bar was okay but the music went all night long so we could not get any sleep. The beach was really nice but when you look at the motel from the beach there were cartoon sperm spray painted on the wall between the beach and the hotel. When you went outside your room in the court yard and watch the people it is like watching Jerry Springer. This was hands down the worst place I have ever stayed in. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on a nice place to stay. I know I will.

yuck. beds lumpy, but clean sheets and towels. outdoor tiki bar is LOUD and annoying unless you join in the continuous community drunk - thank you God for raining them out two nights! only drink there if you watch them remove the cap from your prepackaged beverage, only eat prepackaged foods. overnight outdoor lighting shines into the rooms, which have no blackout curtains. don't use the pool unless you enjoy entertaining non-specific infections - trash cans throughout the grounds constantly overflowing with bottles, cans, food containers, dirty diapers, etc etc etc. and much of it took a turn in the pool first. i'll sleep in the bed of my pickup before returning here.

I have been going to the sea vista every years for 6 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The Tiki Bar is so fun because the bartenders are so friendly. They always have live music and it is relaxing. You can't go wrong with the Sea Vista.

My friend and I stayed at the Sea Vista Motel for one night in Oct. 2007. We were greeted at the check in office by a woman that reaked of cigarette smoke and had an attitude of indifference. Our motel room was dirty; there were dead bugs on the window sill, dead roaches (and one live one) on the floor and in the bathroom. The bathroom was very tiny and uncomfortable. The people next to us were loud and drunk. They threw their alcohol trash on the walkway in front of their room, of which we had to step over. They also left their television on loud all night. The tiki bar is ocean front, but not the motel. The pool was filthy and a hang out for the teens. We were very disappointed and will not be staying there ever again!!!

Even as a college student I found this place so disgusting we left the motel! The tub was stopped up and didn't drain. We told the staff multiple times and it was never fixed. The doors to the outside opened up right into the bedroom and sometimes didn't lock securely. There were bugs in the cabinets and hairs in the bedsheets! Finally, staff was extremely rude and they charged us more than the price they had told us over the phone when making the reservations. The only good thing about this motel was the location and access to the beach. Extremely beautiful beach- extremely nasty motel! Don't waste your time here!

Where do I start?? Bar area is filthy. The rooms are dirty with mold in shower and around the sink. Floors have ground in dirt. windows are dirty. there is a disgusting odor inside and outside the rooms.

I don't even know where to begin to describe this place. The curtain was hanging off the rod, the shower was black with mold, the carpet was ripped in places, the window in the bathroom wouldn't lock, the walls are paper thin so you can hear EVERYTHING going on outside. To top it off, when we were packing up I found a live roach next to the bed. please do yourself a favor and dont come here.

This motel is a great place for kids, teens, or adults. The motel is on the beach with a great tiki bar and pool. The rooms are nice, complete with kitchen and bed rooms, and tv room. Great dock to watch the sunrise from or from the beach.
