Hampton Inn Caryville, Caryville

The view was breathtaking. Every time I walked through the halls I found myself stopping to read the old newspaper clippings. Friendly service. A little disappointed with the room and facilities, (dryer was broken and inoperable). It seemed the pool was a place where the locals hung out, I'm pretty sure some of them were not renting a room there. Overall I suppose the view was the best positive, just make sure to stay on the interstate side. I do not understand all the hub-bub about their lamas, the kids enjoyed seeing them I guess, it is obvious that the lamas are there because they are cheaper than having to hire a crew to mow the side of the mountain that the property is located on.

What could be more relaxing than watching llamas grazing outside your window with a backdrop of the mountains, blue Tennessee sky, and....a lake! I am making this my annual two-day getaway to recharge my soul.

We stopped overnight on our way to Georgia. What a wonderful stop. The Inn was beautiful, the southern hospitality from all of the staff was outstanding. They make it a very homey atmosphere. The view outside was breathtaking, I don't think you could ever get tired of that view. I was so disappointed that we couldn't stay longer, but you can bet, we will be back and it will be longer than one night!! Words can't quite describe how great the stay was!
