Rude Staff, disrespectful

I had booked a room for 2 people, and called that day to make sure I had 2 beds and was willing to pay extra. I got there and the gentleman in front of me was getting a room for him and his fiancee. He stated that she was paralyzed and could he have a handicapped room?The clerk refused without proof,the man offered to havehis fiancee come in, the clerk replied that anyone could sit in a wheelchair. Everyone in line was apalled! He wouldn't give me a room with 2 beds, but said he's upgrade me to a queen bed, instead of a twin. Very rude, I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone.
