Americas Best Value Inn, Lewisburg

Shower curtain had not been washed for years-brown and moldy. Tub had thick brown stains in bottom. Carpet was so dirty you would not walk in your bare feet. Sheets were brown and cigarette burns. Mattress was stained severely with what?? The only way there could be a positive comment made is if the owner is posting his own review. This place should not be listed for unaware travelers to get stuck in. All motels in 40 mile radius filled with golf and ball tournaments. This place needs shut down for sanitary reasons.

I can't think of anything I liked, but we were exhausted and this was the only hotel in a 60 mile radius that had any rooms, and now I see why! All the rooms, even the ones designated 'no smoking' were smoking rooms, and where we don't smoke, the smell was horrible. The rooms were gross, even though they looked clean, the carpet felt wet, the sheets were stained to the point I was scared to sleep on them, the shower looked disgusting, and there were wires hanging out of the walls. It was an adjoining room but the door looked like it had been broken down and then nailed shut. The beds were small and very uncomfortable. All in all, probably the worst hotel ive ever stayed at. If I could rate it with negative stars I would...

Likes; Price Dislikes: reserved two rooms with king size beds- put in rooms with two double beds requested first floor rooms - put in one first and one second floor requested rooms close together- both were one the same side of building but on different ends one first floor one second reserved two days- sheets were not changed, bed not made up tub, toilet, lavatory not cleaned , no clean towels no cleaning done to room between days toilet tank refill took about 10 minutes in my room standing in 3 inches of water after shower, slow drain Neither one of us got any rest due to the worst mattresses in the world! Lumpy doesn't nearly describe them. Would I stay there again for the price, only if it was for an " afternoon delight for an couple of hours"" No, after second thought I wouldn't even go there for that.

Well.. Price wise, you can't really beat $97 for two nights. However, you have to hold down the handle until the toilet completely flushes, the sink handle is loose and you need to pull it up harder than normal. The carpet is kind of dirty, one light does not work, the wall paper looks like it is peeling off, and the second bed in the room is a roll away bed, one obviously not meant for the hotel room. The rest of the furniture is nice, especially the chairs. The fridge and microwave could come in handy, so those are nice. Overall, if you're visiting last second, or just need somewhere really cheap, it is a great choice for the price. But if at all possible, I would recommend going somewhere else.
