Paradise Harbour Club & Marina, New Providence

The location is close everything but yet you don't feel the the congestion as you do downtown. It is pristine, quiet and the staff is respectful that you are on vacation and are willing to help you have a great stay. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The balcony is my favorite , with the incredible view and spaciousness of the balcony enables you to have dinner and relax. This is my favorite place and I have been back nine times.

Setting off for a relaxing time together... When checking into our room we learned that the services that they provide for their guest, like travel to downtown and the grocery stores, are extremely limited and may cost extra money. We tried the Columbus Tavern, the restaurant right about the main office of the Harbour Club, for dinner and spent $86.00 for a meal for two and it took 1 1/2 hours to order, receive our food, and get the bill with only 12-14 other smaller tables filled. The Harbour Club is also in the process of adding to their buildings so everyday starting earlier than 6 AM and lasting until 8-9 PM there was construction on the new building approximately 50 feet from our door. For the most part I seemed like I was bothering the staff at the main desk when I asked for a towel or for a bike. They never seemed like they wanted to assist me and that I was asking too many questions. When doing our final check out we learned that there would be extra fees that we needed to pay. We were charged an extra $38.26 for housekeeping, energy surcharge, levies and a 6% room tax per day on top of the cost to book the room, which we already paid. At the end of our stay we needed to strip the bed linens ourselves and put them in the bathtub, even though we were charged the housekeeping fee. A week after our trip ended we also learned that they charged us more money that was forgotten at our original check out and recharged our credit card without our approval. I then needed to call the Harbour Club and talk through their billing process. I am extremely disappointed with their service and the way they handled things with my new husband and myself.

I stayed at Paradise Harbour Club and Marina and absolutely loved it. Housekeeping came every day to clean and change bed sheets. The pool is great and is right next to the harbor front so you can watch boats go by. I love how our unit had a balcony on the waterfront side, so every morning we would sit having our coffee looking at the sea. It was truly relaxing. Plus there is an amazing restaurant right next to it called Columbus Tavern and their staff was great, even when ordering room service or a drink to have by the pool. Prices extremely good for Paradise Island. Their seafood, steak and daily Bahamian specialties, like Jerk Chicken, was delicious. Plus on Friday and Saturday nights, they have a singer at the restaurant so at times, we would just sit on our balcony eating our dinner listening to the music and watching the moonlight over the ocean. Atlantis is a little too busy for us to actually stay at. It is great to go out on some nights for the casino and dancing, but was always amazing coming back to our quiet suite.

I went it was affordable and great for the family excelent view of the beach and the service was awesome!Want to go back soon had fun on the beach and in the water the right place to go for a honeymoon or family vacation with friends i recomend it to everyone its an experience of a life time!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Paradise Harbor Club and Marina in Paradise Island Bahamas. My family and I had a wonderful time although hurricane Wilma washed away one out of the seven days of our visit. The rest of my stay was excellent because of the staff of the resort where I stayed. Upon my arrival to Paradise Harbor Club and Marina, I was privileged to meet a gentleman who works in The Columbus Tavern Restaurant. He was very kind and suggested various places to visit and dine. The following day, we received news that hurricane Wilma maybe affecting The Bahamas. Naturally, we were concerned. I have never experienced a hurricane of any kind in my life. The gentleman, assured us that everything would be fine and offered to take us to the store for supplies, he than gave us his home phone number and cellular phone in the event we needed anything else. The following morning, he came to our room and asked: �Is everything ok with you folks?� and of course all was great because of him!! I have traveled all over the world and through my travels; I have never met anyone as kind and thoughtful as he was. It seems as if he was an angel sent from God above. I am the first to criticize sub par service. It is also important to congratulate exceptional ones. I look forward to visiting The Bahamas on my next vacation and I will let everyone know about my stay and especially the exceptional service provided by the staff at Paradise Harbor Club and Marina/Columbus Tavern Restaurant.
