Sallisaw Inn, Sallisaw

Checked in. Good Price. Got in Bed. Parasites were in the bed. Bed Bugs! I went down to the front desk and advised the management of the facility. She proceeded to move me to another room. So now not one but two rooms that I know of are affected by these Bed Bugs. That following morning I expressed my belief that I should not have to pay for this room and I was responded to disrespectfully. Not only would she do nothing for me she tried to use an analogy dealing with if a meal was bad at a restaurant I would not get a refund I would get a new meal. I responded by saying if it had bugs in it I would. She then said well we are not talking about food anyway. Ha, are you kidding me. She did not offer me bags to remove my belongings from her facility, who knows if they are going to get an exterminator. When I told her that this needed to be reported she said fine not a problem go right ahead. What an awful and traumatic experience. Please do not stay here for your safety and sense of mind. I understand this can happen but the way one goes about resolving such an issue was pure ignorance.

Resonably clean and very well priced. However, having my own pillows and blanket does make me feel more comfortable. It's obviously an older hotel but acceptable. I would not call the beds "relaxing" as I believe another reviewer said.

This motel was clean, the rooms had microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee pots. The high speed wireless connection was great. Best price for a room I've ever seen.
