Holiday Inn Express Southaven, Southaven

We found this Holiday Inn Express to be exceptional. The room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in--very spacious; granite on vanity and around bathtub; very comfortable beds; microwave; small frig; safe for valuables; door to bathroom doesn't open toward bed so no "light in the eyes" during the night; staff was friendly and competent. Location is one block east of the highway and just South of Graceland and Memphis. Great outdoor pool. Breakfast was yummy--but out of fruit at 7:45 am on a Sunday. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

unless you want your debit or credit card number stolen. We made the mistake of staying here as a large group when our girls were playing in the World Series of softball. The stay was good but when we got home, we noticed that some debits had been made and we WERE NOT the ones that made them!!!!! The worst part is they took about $700 out and not only that they also STOLE 2 other friends' card numbers also. Should be easy to track being that our cards were with us the whole time and the idiots paid their cable and cell bill with the cards. What made it even worse is when we called the hotel to inform the manager, he acted as if he could care less about it. So, a WARNING......if you stay here, beware of thieves!!!!!

The rooms in this hotel are very nice. They are top quality. The beds have temperpedic mattresses and they are great. The only problem we encountered was that our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Evidently, the room above us was a smoking room and the smell filtered down into our room. We stayed in room 112 and it was a bit noisy in the middle of the night. This aside, the hotel is very nice and the room is done exceptionally well. We will stay in a HI Express again.

I really enjoyed the stay here. Despite the town, the hotel made the stay bareable. The staff was most helpful. My room was clean. If I ever have to go back I will stay again.

Our family stayed at this location March 23,2007 & March 24,2007 and had a nice stay. Ammenities we had included clean rooms, a large shower head with good water pressure and plenty of hot water, the beds were WONDERFUL! Firm thick mattresses, lots of pillows, you could choose between firm or soft pillows on the bed. The room was a nice size with two queen beds, a nightstand, a desk with chair, a small dining table with two chairs, a 27" television, a small table to set your suitcase on, a safe, a microwave, and a refridgerator, they even had free cookies for the guest. The location was easy to get to and from as well! The staff wasn't as friendly as they could be, they never spoke when we passed them in the hall or the front desk and very rarely smiled so we think they should work on those things as well as: the 2nd floor hallway carpets needed to be cleaned and our toilet wouldn't flush the last morning of our stay however; we would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a PEACEFUL nights rest at a fair price and great location!
