We really loved everything about our trip - stayed 3 nights in Feb. 2005. Everyone at the front desk was soooo kind and helpful. I was so surprised how absolutely overyly friendly everyone we met was on our trip - the breakfast in the "basement" was wonderful, so unique. A great start to every day - loved waking up and walking down the Rue Cler - the open market no cars. The area was so quiet and peaceful yet so easy to get to the metro. From there we to the metro EVERYWHERE, not one cab. We purchased the 3 day metro pass and the 3 day museum pass. Just made our trip so easy. What a memorable trip. We saw all the major attractions. The Tour Eiffel is NOT included in the pass - but before we went I went to the web site, took the quiz and won 2 tickets to the top!!! We really enjoyed Notre Dame (go to the top of the bell tower, exhausting climb but worth it - loved the gargoyles) We we on the steps on the Sacre Couer for Sunset - breathtaking view. Tip - visit Maison du Chocolate, buy desert & take it to the top of the Tour watch as the day turns to night and all the lights go on throughout the city - enjoy a cafe au lait, chocolate and the view. Then a glass of Champagne in the 2nd level bar. (no reservation so we just had a drink) then down to the boat tour below and take the Seinne River Tour. Great!!!
