had no trouble very clean room nice staff enjoyed my stay

I actually looked up lodging in Columbus before I arrived and had saw some bad ratings for this property. Therefore, when I arrived there I asked to see the room before checking in. To my surprise, the room was clean, and had good appliances(Microwave, Fridge, blowdryer, iron) The other thing I liked about this place is how close it was to everything in town(Wal-mart, Whataburger, Denny's...etc). The only thing I didn't like about this property was that there's only one ice machine and it happened to be far away from my room. So, I definitely recommend it to travelers who want a comfortable place to stay and not want to pay high prices.

I stayed here one night. The first room they gave me had people in it, the second non smoking room smelled horrible and the third the toilet didn't work and I had to dump water in it to flush it. The drain in the tub was plugged too. No discount given for all this trouble. Then my credit was billed twice.

We came here because IKE hurricane,We are lucky to have a room at Holiday Inn for one night, then columbus Inn for another night.These two hotel are both clean and great, but I have to said I will choose Columbus Inn because the half price and they even have a microwave or fridge in their room

I visit Columbus on a regular basis and the Columbus Inn staff has consistently been very helpful with Mom! There's always someone on duty 24/7. Their room prices beat all the other local inns and they recently did an over haul getting new carpets throughout, new furniture etc etc. They put us in a room with a microwave and a refrigerator - both clean! I am always happy with my stay at The Columbus Inn - - - it is right on the I-10 and it is surrounded by everything. The motel is only blocks from the Historical section of the city. I couldn't beat the price - - - they take AARP discounts! TWO THUMBS UP!

I stayed at the Columbus Inn on August 3-4, 2007. There were only two face towels for two people, faucet dripped the whole night, rat was in the ice machine, and room was not cleaned.

rooms were dirty, I stayed for 5 days and 3 of the 5 days my room never got cleaned. I went to check out and they wanted to charge me an additional fee, stating that they "forgot to" when I first checked in. Also went to send a fax and they wanted to charge me $2 PER PAGE! Outrageous, needless to say I will NOT be staying there every again. This gets ZERO stars from me!
