Utterly Disgusting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/22/08
This place is foul. And the manager is even more disgusting. He is derogatory, arrogant, demeaning and aggressive. Here's my story. While it seemed like your average dive motel (cheap, not renovated, just getting by) it is actually worse. After having come in late in the evening (sleeping children, lights off), I awoke in the morning to old dried blood on my sheets. Vile! The receptionist was nice enough about it and gave me $20 off our night's stay. It became evident that the cleaning crew took a vacation about 5 years ago - dust, muck, smells, hair and who knows what else. The only reason I allowed my kids to eat breakfast there was that the cereal came in sealed boxes. Eww! But the worst was yet to come. We left my daughter's blanket in the cot. With in a couple of hours of leaving I called. You'd think that it would be a simple thing to retreive. No. It wasn't put in the lost and found. It wasn't found in the laundry. It wasn't found in the cot. Unless it was actively thrown in the trash, it should have turned up somewhere! The receptionist was very nice about the whole thing but she couldn't make it materialize. After three calls to the receptionist over four days, I figured I'd speak to the manager and see if he could get a straight story from the cleaning woman and for him to help get some answers. Gene Sanchez and I had a one minute conversation which started off with him berating me for calling him. Before I even said why I was calling he said "Can't you get it through your thick head, lady? We don't have your blanket!" I said to calm down, that there was no reason for him to be upset with me. This set him off even more. He then started yelling at me, with me stunned on the other end of the phone saying "What are you talking about? Why are you so angry with me? I'm just calling about something I left behind." After a bit more from him, he hung up on me. He's repulsive.

Beware!!!!!!!
By anthonya, 07/27/08
Me and my wife along with my children ages 4 and 10 made reservations at this hotel. Upon entering the hotel we noticed a bad odor. After climbing up the the stairs and entering our room, my 4 year old found some toe nail clippings and some bread crumbs beside one of the beds. The room was very hot and after nicely voicing our concerns, the clerk from the main desk came to the room and worked on it for 20 minutes while we waited. The room never did become cool. We asked for our money back and to speak with a manager. The clerk, some weird dude in his early 50's, refused to give us our money back for a 2 day stay and her refused to contact the manage. I DO NOT KNOW WHO IS LEAVING POSITIVE COMMENTS, BUT DO NOT LISTON TO THEM...IT MUST BE FROM THE OWNER OR SOMEONE ELSE MAKING PROFIT FROM THIS HOTEL. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER SET FOOT IN. KEEP IN MIND...I AM NOT ONE TO COMPLAIN...BUT THIS PLACE WAS VERY DISCUSTING AND HAD POOR SERVICE. I

Going Back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/21/08
The breakfast was great for kids! They love the small boxes of cereal and the selection! Danish, Bagels, Fresh Fruit! Very nice and plenty of food! Friendly Staff and the rooms were clean! We had two rooms, One on the 1st floor and the other on the 2nd. We had no problems, but there is no elevator so if you cannot handle steps, stay on the 1st floor or go elsewhere! We will stay here again, because we do not need something fancy, just clean! We are not in our rooms that long, so it was everything that we needed, and was close to everything!

Just Gross!
By MICHELLE, 04/20/08
The place was disgusting! It smelled walking in the door! We found dirty tissues in our room. They neglected to close our door one day and tried to claim they had no idea what happened. I usually choose Days Inn or others for the value because they are usually clean, and that's all I really wanted. My son ended up with some kind of rash and I wonder if they have bed bugs. The place was just gross! Beds were very uncomfortable.

Bad cleaning service.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/04/08
When we got to our room and turned on the airconditioner, no air came out of it. We checked the filters and they were so full of dust no wonder nothing was getting through. When my husband took one of the filters up to the front desk to show them, the desk clerk just said "oh well" and went back to what he was doing offering no solution. My husbank ended up having to wash out both sdes of each filter himself which took almost 1 hour to get them clean. This should not have been our problem and we will not go back there again. We wonder how many of the other rooms were the same and our room was a smoke free room.

Rude Employees
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/28/08
Called to make a reservation and they told me that I could make a reservation and pay for the room but they couldn't guarantee that the room would be available when I got there. When I talked to the manager and asked for his name, he refused to tell me his name a yelled at me on the phone and then hung up on me.

Very unpleasant experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/07
When we arrived at the hotel I was thankful it was only for one night. The room looked like it had not been thoroughly cleaned or made up. Also there was a musty unpleasant odor. The whole property is in need of a complete renovation. When I later had to contact the hotel because of a credit card billing error on their part, the staff was rude and refused to let me speak to the manager. I'm currently trying to get the matter straightened out with Days Inn Corp.

enjoyed my stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/06/07
I don't understand why the other reviewers say that they smelled an awful smell when they stayed there. I didn't smell anything like that. The room was very clean, and the continental breakfast was nice.

Will never go back!
By VirginiaB, 11/20/06
The first thing we noticed when we walked in the lobby was an overpowering smell of body odor. It followed us down the hall. The bathroom looked "reasonably" clean, but smelled like someone had just used it. the beds were old and creaky and the pillows were flat. The hotel is very outdated and desparaely needs a major rennovation. The staff was very nice.
