A Great Little Hideaway..an unexpected treasure

If you're from the metro Detroit area this is a one gas tank trip to take and feel like you are a world away from the city. This isn't some slick overpriced chain. Its a charming family-run,family friendly place to get fresh air, enjoy the abundant wildlife, eat a great meal and relax. The owners are terrific hosts who take good care of their guests. The bar/resturant area is cozy with a fire & a pretty view of the large lakefront property. It is an older building, but very clean & pleasant. It looks like a place you might drive past, but you be missing out on an unexpected treasure. We sure had fun there & plan to go back soon.Room rates are reasonable(cheap by some standards),You can fish;have a bbq;play horseshoes;see foxes, deer&other wildlife;hear interesting stories& enjoy some quality "down time" in a peaceful setting that is very relaxing.Would be a cool place to have a family reunion.Check out their train-related collection & cheap beer prices! My family gives the Train Station Motel a big THUMBS UP,so go up to the thumb & check into a room a this great little hideaway.
