What a dump!

Wow, did we have a not-so-good experience at this hotel. We were traveling with two babies and had reserved two cribs a month in advance and had even called the night before to remind them since we would be getting in past midnight.When we arrived, the one clerk working "didn't have a chance" to look for a second crib, but was "pretty sure" they had one. Turns out there was one in the storage room, but since she was unable to lift it, my husband had to carry it up at midnight to our room. The cribs looked like they were from the 1950's--very rickety. We had to put them between the bed and the wall so they wouldn't tip over! They did give us a larger room with lots of floor space for the babies but I wouldn't let them crawl on the floor. The carpet was gummy and I wore shoes the entire time. The decor was very outdated--pink and green and the housekeeping was lacking (hair and cobwebs in the corner of the bathroom--nasty!) One day the housekeeper actually left us a note saying she couldn't make the bed because the cribs were in the way! What?! They are on wheels and weigh about 5 pounds! All in all, not a good place to stay. They say they're remodeling and updating. I would consider staying there then, but as is, it's really bad!
