I gotta say this hotel really was great! P.S. if you use SweetHotelDeals. Net for booking this hotel they usually have some pretty good hotel deals at this time of the year!

The best place to explore Prague

We just returned from a short break in Prague and this hotel was a choice because of its location. The room was spotless clean and very comfortable, breakfast buffet rich in choice and wine cellar where we had a welcome drink from this hotel was excellent. Reception staff were really very nice and gave us good tips what to see and arranged the tickets to opera. We did not need a public transport because everything is just few steps from the main door.

The location of this hotel is fantastic,but everything else is really not good. I've stayed in other Best Western hotels, so I expected the same standard. Oh, how wrong was I! My room was small,dark with a view to another building and constant drilling noise comin from outside. The choice of TV channels was rterrible, only CNN and Skynews in english and 7 porno channels. I was in Prague on my own, on a buisness, and I hated this hotel. Old, not very clean, smelled of cigarettes and damp carpets. And not that cheap.....

Perfect Location

Our party of four shared two rooms for four nights in October 2006. Before we arrived, reception had met our requests and a car met us at the airport. The clerk was very helpful and even arranged for reseervations at dinner across the street! Great food and prices, a wonderful welcome to Prague We were also taken by the welcoming drink in the wine cellar resaturant below-- The rooms were clean with a pot for coffee or tea. We were delighted with the fantastic and tasty spread at breakfast. And the good service from the help. But the hotel itself is located in the best place to see Prague. Walking distance to most of the points of interest. In addition, we were able to book tours right at the front desk. Definitly we would return to the Meteor on our next visit to Prague.

It's OK

I just came back from Prague. This hotel is OK but not excellent. Men at receptionist were very kind and good English but women were quite poor English and no- service mind at all. I was alone at health club and in the sauna, I steped so many incects!!! It was awful. Is it really worth to pay 300 korona??? Since a bathroom in a room did not have a shower curtain it became FLOODIG all over the bathroom. Location is great but I do not recommend.

Great Location

For a fantastic base from which to explore Prague, this hotel is nigh on perfect. It's just a few seconds from the Powder Gate and Municipal House and a few minutes stroll to the Old Town Square. It's a clean, friendly and efficient hotel though I do think that the 4 star rating is generous. Our room was a little small and being Brits we missed the great Bristish tea/coffee making facilities! We only ate breakfast there, which was good, standard continental fare. We pre-booked a taxi both from and to the airport and this was very efficient (695 crowns each way - about �15.00). The temperature was 32 degrees for the 3 days that we were there and the hotel stayed pleasantly cool. Overall, a good hotel which we'd recommend.

lovely stay

a wonderful stay in heart of the historic Prague, however the hotel is refurbishing part of the hotel, the hotel staff is very professional and friendly. Moreover they provide also the compensation by free stay in relax room which is just great, you can book after long and frozen walks sauna and whirpool just for yourself. we hope we will have a possibility to come back again soon.

I work for the company situated in the middle of Prague city. Meteor Plaza hotel is perfect quality hotel with prefessional staff on the reception. Also I use offen the transport service of this hotel wich works good. This hotel offers whole necessary for pleasant stay in Prague including the laundry service. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Beautiful days at Metor Plaza Hotel

I just returned from Prague. I have spent 3 beautiful days at the Meteor Plaza Hotel, which is situated in the city centre. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent and staff very kind. I will definatelly come back.
