I would NEVER visit this place again!!!!!

We showed up and paid for a room with a jacuzzi tub, which sounded really good. Unfortunately, there was no hot water and the tub didn't work. I want and spoke with the hotel owner and he offered to lower the room rate to the standard room rate, which was fine. He used the old fashioned credit card machine which uses paper and carbon copies and changed the rate on my customer copy, but told me he could not find his copy and I questioned him on this. He told me his brother must have taken the copy somewhere. The entire situation became more and more fishy and he finally said he was going to go look for the copy and went into the back room and never came back out. I paged him numerous times, but he still wouldn't come out. The man was very strange, to say the least and I became concerned and we decided just to leave. I'll be contacting the credit card company this morning. The previous night when I complained about the water not being hot, he became very rude, stating he pays $30,000.00 per month for his gas bill and that it was impossible that the water was cold. When I told him it was cold, he went and checked the boiler. He came back out and told me someone must have used all of the hot water, yet there were only about 5 cars in the entire parking lot. The toilet was very dirty. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!

Filthy - Cockroaches, mold

This was the absolute WORST place I have ever had the displeasure of staying. My husband and I killed five cockroaches, and there was mold on the air conditioning vent. It was TRULY a nightmare! I was then awakened by phone the following morning by the front desk manager, Dennis, who stated that our card had not been swiped by the night manager when we checked in. My husband took our card to the office, where it was swiped a second time, and we were charged twice. Upon arriving home several days later in a different state, we were hung up on four times by Dennis and a woman answering the phone, saying there is nothing they can do for us, and we were hung up by both. This was the WORST experience I have ever had in all of our years of travel, and has completely tainted my flexibility regarding individually owned and operated motels. DO NOT STOP FOR THIS ONE!

this motel is worth more than what you pay; he has coffee with real coffee mugs if you like in the am, along with an assortment of donuts and breakfast bars.
Refrigerators in the room help the stay go easier, too. He even has a gas grill outside in the "gazebo".
Our club stays here every year in May; the owner does everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. He even gave us the club rate when we broke down nearby, and let us hook up to his electricity outside.
