Not for families with young children.

It was very close to Yellowstone and the area is beautiful. The rooms are fine, very small, but clean. The breakfast left A LOT to be desired, just orange juice, toast and tiny prepackaged muffins and donuts. It had a wonderful playground outside and enough of a yard to run around in. The guy who manages the place is not very personable and does NOT like children. We went into the lobby in the morning to eat with our three young children and there was a guy there sitting at one of the tables, talking with his mother from Germany over the interent. Instead of telling that guy that he might prefer to go to his room to talk with her (since all the rooms have wifi) he came over to us and told us we need to quiet down (ie. don't talk) so that guy can hear his mother. Well, our kids are 4,3 and 1 so you can imagine that that is not a very easy task to do, but we tried. The guy talking to his mom eventually left. but then the phone rang at the front desk and even though our kids were being fairly quiet, they were still talking, and the manager shushes our kids very loudly, scaring them, then goes into the back office and slams the door. Why didn't he just quietly go in the office and shut the door instead of scaring our children first? He did somewhat apologize when I went to check out, but it didn't sound very sincere. If you don't have young children than I think you would be perfecly happy staying here, otherwise, find another place.
