Travel Inn, Wind Gap

I stayed for 2 nights and very 1 night they charged some price and the rooms were Dirty, No heater, No warm water and in the morning at 6 am I have to call them and they told that Warm water will be coming soon as pipe broke down. Warm water came at 8.30am and that too owner was shouting why I need warm water. The next experince was worst as I have to stop by the next to next day and now this time the room became $10 more expensive of what I paid 2 day back and the reason was Boss dont want to give the room at the original price. But the worst was suppose to come as the room what I got was full of Bugs so I have to call them at 3am to change the room. Never go there a very bad experience.

I stayed there with my husband for two nights, as we were moving to our new apartment after. We paid in cash and we were given a room that the wall paper was falling on one wall and a dumpster right by our front door. The room smelled like mildew. We were so tired we decided to stay at that room for the night. At 7:30am the first morning we hear banging on the roof. Maintenance decided to fix the roof above us. We couldn't sleep. We went to the office and told the person at the front desk. The man said he told them to start at 9am. The next day, check out-date, my mom comes in the am to help me pack some stuff. She parked in our parking space and maintenance, threw a cardboard at her truck and told her to move to the other side. Of course she did not do it as she was parked in the right spot. She told them she had paid for the room and that she had all right to be on that spot. The man starting arguing with her. Yes...maintenance, can you imagine. This person is yelling at her from the roof after he threw a cardboard at the windshield. We are reporting it to the Better Business Bureau and might take legal action against the place and the maintenance person. When my mom asked why did he do that, he said "It was just cardboard and so what". Just because you are in the country doesn't mean you have to behave like a uncivilized, unprofessional with a back minded attitude. This person apparently does not have any social skills, and does not care for the customers. AVOID THIS PLACE. Spend your money somewhere else. You will regret staying there. And you may be in danger. Trust me.

Paid for a week stayed 4 nights was moved from one room where the bed bugs were. To another room that the refridgerator didnt work. It was horrible I threw so much stuff away from food to clothes to our own bedding because of them. Then also tried to say they didnt see any. I even had a couple I found in a container and showed the lady and she shrugged it off and said you want another room. Omg never again. I made phone calls and got no where. Nobody wants to take the responsiblity on checking on this place. It should be closed down.

I loved the location , but just remember drive further. Stayed 1 nite just to wake with bites. as i confronted management they insisted there wasnt bed bugs, that they said i brought them there.I paid 7 nites stayed 1 they refused a refund of the remaining 6.

This place was convenient for our purpose in town, but it was so dirty, and bugs in the sheets, fifthly bathroom,and noisy..will drive miles for better next time.

Bugs in the rooms! Mold on the walls and in the shower! Ludicrously small rooms! VERY VERY VERY poor customer service! (I don't know if Indians are just born with poor manners or if they are educated to be the worst people persons but they seem to have to WORST temperments) Was there for 10 minutes and requested a refund but it was refused.If you value your personal hygene or your quality of life stay somewhere else!

I booked my stay here for 3 nights over the labor day weekend more than a month in advance. Since I had recived only a phone confirmation, I called the day before my arrival to reconfirm -just to be doubly sure.They charged me extra for a room with with 2 queen beds but I learnt upon arrival that they call their double beds "queen beds"- what a rip off! In addition, I was charged 10% tax on my base rate, which interestingly enough was not itemized on my final receipt. The last time I checked PA didnt have a 10% sales tax. Upon arrival, I was told that I was guaranteed a room for only 1 night and not 3 and that they had just 1 room left. Since they have no web site/email to confirm reservations, you are at their mercy and its your word against theirs. The room was a disaster with mold in the closets and a heavy, all pervasive , strong musty smell. I could not sleep all night, and ended up leaving the room at 4.30am. I asked for a livable room for the next 2 nights, and was given a slightly better room. However, there is no cleaning service, and my bed was not made, nor was the trash removed on day 2. This is a total rip off place with terrible service and rooms that are borderline uninhabitable. I wonder how the county can let a dump like this continue to function. Please do yourself a big favor and stay away from this motel.

clean and safe close to rt 33 and resturents, its a place for all comunity with ur own bdget.every day u get room service neat and clean , safe , gr8 staff, dedication and coutiayuos staff,gone to very deep studies aboyt the business for their adr(average daily revenue and occupation )its a remarkable achivment. no trouble . u r in safe hand .

this plase is absolutly the nastiest place that i have ever stayed in the bathrooms are so incredibly dirty. the showers look like they've never been cleaned, the curtains in the rooms are moldy because they along with the motel are old, the sheets don't stay on the beds, there are stians on the blankets and mattress. don't get me wrong i understand that the place is old but that's no reason to let the place go like that. one day i was there and i watched the "cleaning" staff "clean" the room and they didn't touch the bathroom. they gave us "clean" towels which had unidenified stains on them. if i was you i would rather fall asleep at the wheel.

After reading the previous 3 reviews. I was hesitant to go there. I went prepared with Telephone numbers of some other motels in the neighborhood so that I could switch if we did not like the place. But that was not necessary. The room was clean. The owner is friendly and helpful. Since it is located close to Route 33, it was convenient. We stayed over a week and have no major complaints. Since the motel is old, there are some minor things we had to put up with e.g. heater makes slight noise, shower door needs to be lifted a little so that it may close perfectly. Overall we were satisfied and would recommend the place. Eswaran
