Osborne Hotel, Valletta

As this hotel is in Malta you should regard it as a 2 star hotel. While smoke alarms are fitted in each room, each room also has an ash tray?. There were cigarette burns on the net curtain and the bed covers also had cigarette burn holes, the windows were filthy and plenty of dust etc. under the beds. A request to move to another room was granted without any bother. Good cuts of pork, beef, veal, turkey (tough) also fish and rabbit were to be had on most days in rotation and served with pre frozen vegitables, which were not always cooked to perfection. The lounge and Dining room were clean and tidy, coffee from the lounge bar was below standard. The bedrooms in this hotel are in need of refurbishment this includes the the en suite shower/bath rooms
