A little pricey, but a wonderful experience.
The style and decor is astonishing. From the world class cars for rent sitting in the front of the hotel to the gold trim along the ceiling and floors of the lobby, this hotel exudes class. I will say that the rates were quite steep, and unless you are looking to take full advantage of all the amenities offered(i.e. pillow menu and underwear dry-cleaning) you may not want to stay here. One other thing was that it is a little far from the center of Rome. Though there are shuttles that run every hour, they're generally crowded and only run until about 9 or so. My favorite thing about this hotel was the pool. It was hands down the greatest pool I've ever swam in. Overall, I had a great experience here as it was my first time ever visiting Italy. I would go back to Italy in a heartbeat, but not necessarily to the Cavalieri.
