absolutely disgusting
By KalenaW, 8/17/04
I completely disagree with the previous rating. I think that person stayed in a different hotel. The Jurys Hotel was the complete opposite of clean and modern. It was filthy and the service was horrible. The stains on the bedspread almost made me throw up. I wish I could post the picture I took so that nobody stays in this hotel.

If you want all kinds of gross bodily fluids all over your bed then this is the place for you. If you want no service you have found your place. I will never stay in this hotel again.

GREAT VALUE HOTEL
By Candy, 3/14/04
My husband and I stayed at Jurys Glasgow this past August 2003. We had a wonderful time and the service was good. We found the hotel to be clean and modern. We were very pleased to have good parking that was also FREE! You will like Jurys too since it is located close to the bus stop and in the nicest part of town. My husband and I found the breakfast to be great and also room service which we had one night of our stay.

FYI...... Glasgow is the place to stay if you are going to visit Edinburgh too. It is a MUCH CLEANER town and MUCH, MUCH cheaper to stay in. Yes, Edinburgh is nice but not modern and very expensive. One can also just take a train (30 minute) ride to Edinburgh and save a lot that way.
