Well worth a visit!

If you want a lovely hideaway in the Scottish Highlands, you can't go far wrong here. Situated just 12 miles or so from Aviemore, it is well worth the extra journey to find such a jewel. The hotel is a beautiful, old Victorian building with lovely, clean rooms. Best of all, some of the rooms are dog friendly - ideal for walking in the mountains with your pet. Mine host, Robert, is a character (think Basil Fawlty without the nastiness!)and his Saturday night banquets are an experience not to be missed! My husband and I have visited a few times now and will definitely be back in the not too distant future. Joy Innes-Greig
