Overcharged in Bloomsbury
By ,
Good price and location but, I was overcharged and so far have not been able to get the charge reversed on my credit card. Staff are unhappy which results in an appearance of rudeness. I don't blame them, they have to work under the unfair labour laws that the UK has for foreign workers. Will never stay there again. I was much happier at the Travel Lodge which is close by across from Euston Station, but bring earplugs as this is a noisy location.

I think it's better than the hotel russle
By ,
Its not the first time my mum and me have been to london but its the first time i've been to the imperial hotel. I think it is better than the russle hotel 100 times better The food is very nice a great menu. The bar is very large and the extirior is very classy the same for the reception area. Great service they do what ever you want room perfect size and seperat bathroom and toilet and good storage.Downstairs their is a barclays bank salon and souvernier shop I highly reccomend this hotel Mr Liam Herrador and mum Thanks for looking

Good for a place to rest
By ,
I stayed in this hotel as part of a Contiki trip. It was better than the Royal National, (an upgrade), but otherwise pretty much the same. Smallish rooms, basic accomodations. Its a good place to sleep, rest, or get cleaned up. It's near the British Museum, Russell Square, and a tube station. Across the street from where one of the bus bombs went off. (Mentioned for location info, has no bearing on the hotel). It's fine for it's purpose.

Noisy
By ,
This was the noisiest hotel I've stayed in. Taxi's and shouting outside. A conecting door into the next room that was so thin we could here the other guests rummaging through their shopping bags. To top it all off a disco started up at 9 pm. Turned out hotel had been taken over by transvesites for the weekend. In the morning the dining room was full of burly men in wigs and make-up. It was so entertaining we almost forgave the rude and unhelpful staff. It could be a nice hotel with a little attention and a boot up the back-side for the staff.

loved it
By ,
We loved the imperial for its location ,10 mins away from the british museum, not far from oxford street and russel square tube station just around the corner. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good (full english)sets you up for the day and there is a bar connected to the hotel thats open till 2 am so you can have a night cap on your doorstep so to speak. The rooms were clean and roomy(though ours was a triple)couldnt fault it, wish I was back.
