What a location & AC!!
By ,
Arrived to a nice and clean room that met our expectations. (We arrived early & got our room right away.) Started exploring London & realized that this location was fantastic...convenient to subway, Oxford Street, Hyde Park, lots of pubs & restaurants in side streets. My only complaint about this hotel is the AC in our room was not sufficient during the heat wave of the time. However, I bet most hotels were not equipped for the heat wave. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would go back to stay in this hotel again.

Would give it a miss next time.
By ,
Plus: Great location and that is about is unless dining in is a major consideration. The restaurant and room service serves rather appetising food. Downside: The furnitures in the room were falling apart and there was a crack across the window that was secured with a duct tape. Housekeepers do not vacuum the room frequently during our three weeks stay and towels supplied looked worn and frayed. Concierge weren't as professional as a previous hotel I stayed the last time.

Millennium Mayfair
By ,
Staff was courteous and very helpful. We had a room with 2 twin beds (didn't like that, the standard in the US is 2 queen size beds). The room was very cold and adjusting the themostat didn't help. The walls had gross stains all over them. The carpets were also stained. Television stations were very limited and the pay-per-view choices were limited to six outdated movies, the rest of the choices were porn. The room and the bathroom were a little cramped. Location was a plus. Hyde Park, Oxford Street, Bond Street and Harrods were all in walking distance.

check carefully all reservations details
By ,
The reservation office is horrible. They would do anything to get your booking even if they do not have the room you asked for and can mislead you concerning the details of the room. For example: If you ask: do you have decorated twin room facing the square? they will answer: All our rooms are beautifully decorated ....." You have to ask them to write back all details of reservation until the last detail.

Elegant

This hotel is right in the heart of London. From this location, it is easy to use the underground to get anywhere around the city. The rooms are beautiful with details like an electric presser for slacks. The front desk staff are very helpful with directions, taxi service, etc. The only negative - room service orders were usually incorrect. I would definitely stay there again when in London.
