Millennium Gloucester Hotel London, London

This has to be the best bargain in London. A fabulous high class hotel. What it's not near, you can get to from the tube station around the corner. I searched the net and got an amazing deal which included breakfast at �55 pp! We only stayed one night but they upgraded us to a club room voluntarily. Yes it was on a floor which was being refurbished, so they probably weren't letting the rooms at full rate anyway and OK the carpet needed replacing (it had been badly stained and the cleaning attempt had bleached it out) and the bathroom tiling could have been a little more sparkling, but the shower was powerful and hot, the towels were thick and fluffy, as were the bathrobes. The staff were friendly and willing (and although most of the staff were foreign workers, their english was very good too!). Breakfast was super, fresh, hot and plentiful. They were also quite happy to produce tea and biscuits at 11:30 at night (although going that extra mile and producing cake would have been even better!). A minor point, but what's with the small pillows?? such a penny pinching thing.

We have been there for a few days and must say this is an eyeful, real luxury hotel. Expensive,I must admit also! Excellent, comfortable rooms with many facilities! The bathroom was in a good condition, but not as fantastic the bedroom was. Unfortunately, no one informed us analytically about the special hotel facilities, such were the pool and the spa services and we missed them! Overall very clean, big, luxury hotel, with good plus services,indeed! We liked our stay very much so!

Each morning I had a terrible backache from the mattress. Took quite a while to ease out. Stayed there Nov. 20 thru 26. I was glad to see my bed at home.

Stayed at the Millennium GLoucester in Feb 2005. Excellent Location and we have NO complaints whatsoever about this Hotel. Large room and great staff. Seays Dalton Georgia

My girlfriend and I stayed here as part of a travel package and really liked it. The room was spacious and the hotel was right next to the Tube station that took us to all the major sites. Not much for bars around the hotel and the restaurants are sparce but you'll want to go out all over the city so that shouldn't matter.

This is a very nice and comfortable upscale hotel to come back to in the evening, but nothing special. It's located conveniently near the Tube. The rooms have 120VAC US style outlets and small refrigerators. Ideal for the business traveller.

Location, service, great food, convenience. You name it, it's here!
I am happy to stay here again the next time i am in London.
