Not as Advertised

Phoned previous day to ensure early arrival as I was taking the red eye from the US. Over an hour shuttle ride from Heathrow. Told by staff early arrival ok for check in. Upon arrival sentenced to stark reception area as staff tried in vain to find my room. An hour passes, led on goose chase by bellman, room STILL not ready - maintenance fixing bathroom shelf - back to lobby, wait another 30 minutes. Breakfast? Hotel restaurant closed. Hungry, tired, annoyed, room is finally ready - Is this some kind of joke? Just enough space to open door, skims the bed foot board. Barely a walkway around bed. No fruit, no news paper, no bathrobe, computer access down, American voltage blew a fuse and fried my phone chager - ridiculous
