Moevenpick Hotel Muenster, MüNSTER

I have been returning to this hotel every year and it just gets better. The rooms are enormous, bedlinen beautiful, bowl of fruit and sparkling water on arrival in room. Nothing is enough for the attentive staff. It is well known by the locals that this is the 'the' place for the best cake in town. The buffet breakfasts and dinners are renowned. It may not be central but it is only a 10 minute walk along the lake into the city - bikes can be rented. Coffee on the spacious terrace surrounded by greenery is a delight. Can't say enough good things about the hotel or staff. Plenty of parking if arriving by car. Be warned ... extensive building work is being carried out from 1st July to end of September 2005 ... therefore avoid this time or take ear plugs as the germans start work early and therefore finish early. Highly recommended ... I am a repeat guest and know this hotel very well. Non smoking floor and best room is 279.
