Facing the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angles) and the Promenade des Anglais, Hotel Suisse backs onto the Colline du Château, a beautiful public park. Advantageously placed, it takes just a few minutes to reach Cours Saleya, the most animated section of the old town, overflowing with cafe terraces, restaurants and market stalls. The port is also within walking distance. A superbly run establishment with charming, comfortable rooms that for the most part overlook the sea.

I would stay here again!

It was a perfect location. We had a sea view room. We happened to come across the Hotel while driving through Nice. That night there was a festival with big floats of animals and people. Very festive. As we were sitting on our balcony the floats when right by the hotel. We actually were able to touch some of the big floats! What an experience! I can't wait to go back. The hotel personnel were very helpful and friendly.

Oh what a view.

We stayed four nights at the Hotel Suisse in Sept 2007 and just loved it. Our room was spacious, clean and had a great terrace overlooking the sea. Despite being right on the street, the room was not overly noisy. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The location was superb, and the price was reasonable. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Nice.

Love this Hotel

Have stayed at the Hotel Suisse 4 times...am planning next trip for december. Will be staying there for 11 nights. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. This hotel has the best view of any in Nice. It's quirky, sophisticated, convenient, clean, comfortable and safe. This is NOT an american hotel so don't expect an american room. DO expect a completely charming hotel in the best location in Nice (and with the best view!)

Good Value for Family

We were there in July 2005 and found it to be a wonderful location and a good value overall. Picture perfect view from the windows/balcony. Hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were small but well kept--decent but nothing fancy. Great location near Old Town shops and cafes (we didn't have, or need, a car the whole time). Only drawback was on Friday night--neverending stream of rowdy car traffic along the Promenaade just below our windows. But I would definitely recommend the Hotel Suisse!

Room with a View

We have stayed at this hotel several times. As far as being plush...it's not. But the room is good sized, clean, comfortable and well kept. The staff is very helpful. Best of all, the view from this hotel can not be beat. I know that I don't spend all my time in my room, but nothing beats waking up in the morning and gazing out from the terrace to that azure water. Then just a few minutes walk to Old Nice and I'm perfectally content. I have stayed at other hotels on the promendade that were more costly, but always prefer to be at the Primotel Suisse.
