Hotel La Perouse, Nice

I loved the room I had which was on the level of the swimming pool. Private. When I had a minor accident the staff was helpful. Everything was so clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom made me feel like a star, and, of course, the view was wonderful. I plan to go back there sometime during Jazz Festival week in 2008.

This Hotel is at the eastern edge of the beach thus giving you a spectacular view. I was just backpacking and was immediately given a room from tourist assistance in the train station...you have to walk a little if you are taking the bus but location makes up for it...love this place...may be a bit expensive now but i still hope to go back there...

Excellent position for the flower market and all the shops. The views were inspiring and the sevice excellent. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Not really good for those that dont like steps as there area few even with the lifts.

A querky hotel set over various levels. Our room had spectacular views across the sea. It was well appointed and spacious. The restaurant wasn't open for meals but we had excellent quality room service and, although it was February, we could have eaten out in the secluded garden. The service was excellent- the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. It is situated at the quieter end of Nice with easy access to the Old Quarter. We are eagerly anticipating our return visit.

The hotel management is unfriendly and lousy. Staff's low morale can be felt
