Kkhotel Cayre, Paris

Four star luxury hotel in a chic downtown area on the left bank. Entrance is 100 metres from the Rue du Bac metro station. Very clean and modern rooms in comparison to most in Europe. The staff all spoke English. There is a convenience store in a petrol station nearby that was handy. There is no dining in the hotel; a buffet breakfast is available in an area off from the lobby but is rather expensive (euro26), but in Paris who eats in their hotel. The hotel website is accurate on other services provided. I will return to this hotel on my future trips to Paris.

The hotel's central location is really hard to beat. We walked to the Louvre, Orsay, Notre Dame, Latin Quarter and Tuilleries. The Metro station just outside the door made our other trips very convenient. We hadn't ridden urban subway systems very much, but Metro was easy, clean and safe. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't know very much French, but I did make an effort to greet them and exchange pleasantries in French. At checkout there were no unexpected charges on our bill. Sad to say, that seems to be almost the exception with many hotels today. Our room was a bit small by American standards but it was definitely very adequate, and was clean. The hotel and our room are decorated in a modern theme. I'm usually a bit more traditional in my tastes, but I liked it. I'd definitely book this hotel again.

Just returned from Paris on July 4th. My daughter and I stayed a week at the K and K Hotel Cayre. The room was clean and all the staff were very helpful and nice. The whole staff spoke English (which I was worried about) and they were very knowledgeable on how to get to places within Paris. This hotel is in a good safe location as well as being very close to the Metro. The hotel is within walking distance to the Louvre. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I visited Paris.

The concierge was top notch. The hotel was always clean and orderly. Our party had never been to Paris before, and the hotel made it feel manageable and like home. I cannot say enough good things.

I'm not gonna say much..overall...its really great!! since 5 days me and my family at K & K. The services they gave, its totally good and the staff very friendly. People like us who cannot speak French and are used to very good service due to traveling so often, the hotel exceeded our expectations. We will be there again in June. What more can we say?

Myself and my sister stayed here June of 2003 and it was great! The staff and the rooms were very nice. And being in a wheelchair was no problem! In fact the handicapped rooms were very nice and didn't make you feel like you were "handicapped" like some hotels in Europe can make a person feel. On top of the great rooms and service the location is very centrally located to everything. Most of the typical places tourists want to see is within walking distance or the Metro is just outside the door. Best of all we found our favorite place to eat was at the Cafe' right on the corner!

It was easy access to transportation. If you like walking, put on your sneakers and get ready to see all the sights, museums, cafes, churches, parks and the river. I would do it again and stay longer.

The location was perfect - close enough to walk to the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay and the on/off bus tour and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city - very nice neighborhood-don't miss Le Petite Chaise restaurant (Paris's oldest) just down the street for excellent meal. Hotel was lovely, great room, fab breakfast, great staff - giving the French a two thumbs up for hospitality from we two Americans!!

The K & K Cayre is an outstanding hotel in all regards! The hotel is located in a very safe, clean neighborhood with quick access to all the major monuments. A bank, post office, cafe, and small food mart are all in the same block. The metro station is just a few steps out the front door of the hotel. I found the staff to be very helpful and fluent in several different languages. All of the employees I encountered from the lobby staff, housekeeping and the bellman spoke excellent english. The rooms were modern and extemely clean with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was somewhat small but had all the expected amenities including a hair dryer, heated floor and full size tub and shower. There were computers with internet access for guest use in the lobby which made it easy to stay in contact with people at home. An efficient bell staff and two elevators in the lobby made it easy to take luggage to and from the room. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and offered a wide variety of food choices. Eggs, bacon, croissants, fresh fruit and cereal were all available. Breakfast was included with the room package we ordered saving us a lot of money on food for the week. My room had air conditioning and was extremely quiet. My stay in Paris was greatly enhanced by the outstanding service and excellent condition of the hotel. It is without reservation that I recommend K & K Cayre and will definitely stay there again!!!!!

The locations was great!! We walked everywhere. The people in the hotel were very helpful. Everyone spoke english. Anything you needed they were right there to help. The breakfeast was great every morning. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom had all the comforts. The hotel is very clean and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I loved Paris!!! I have only good things to say about this hotel and if you stay here you will too!!!
