Rocco Forte Amigo Hotel, Brussels

The location is wonderful. Not only is it close to the Grande Place, but also only a ten to twenty minute walk to many of the different areas around town. I had some problems during my stay but they were handled immediatly. The price is higher than most but well worth it.

A five star hotel that's worth each one. Loved this hotel! PERFECT LOCATION! The service was outstanding...so helpful and pleasant. Rooms were warm, chic and so comfortable. The hotel restaurant serves awesome breakfast buffet and Italian meals. The bar area is comfortable with the lobby off to the side and offering many, many comfortable couches and chairs to relax or hold "meetings". Right outside the hotel are two of my favorites...the amazing grand square with breathtaking architecture and THE CHOCOLATE MUSEUM (Oh my!) Great restaurant cafes everywhere...Belgian waffles galore, beer to float home on, lace and chocolate to win anyone's heart. I did have a fabulous lunch at Manneken right off the huge square...worth checking out...very Belgian/French. They made me an off the menu Seafood salad that blew my mind...the mussels actually taste so fresh and non-toxic! What a change! The hotel's staff really was so kind in arranging visits and tours, e.g. the only remaining beer brewery in Brussels. You can walk to so many sites from this lovely hotel and taxis are everywhere. The hotel's pricey fee is worth every Euro...Treat yourself!
