The Hotel Brussels, Brussels

I have VISA fraud charges pending against this hotel. They have charged my personal credit card for all sorts of charges from other employees at my company, and have been unable (not unwilling, just unable) to credit the charges back to my account. It drug on so long, I've had to report them to Visa for fraud. This place is expensive, the rooms are small, the internet sucks, and only a few of the employees have any sense of customer service. Just spent a week at the Hilton Brussels. The public areas are very nice and typical of the Hilton chain. However, our room was a little on the shabby side. The cabinet that held the TV had a large area on top of it where the finish was stained, the handle in the bathroom that changed the shower spray from the hand shower head to the wall shower head fell off if you tried to change the spray, the wall paper was starting to peel along the ceiling and the edges of the paper we all uneven. We asked the Concierge for directions to a coin laundry as we were traveling on the next week and did want to pay 15 Euros to launder a shirt. They gave us directions to one about 8 blocks away but they were off by a block so it took a lot of searching to find. We tried to get wireless internet in our room and reluctantly were going to pay the 108 Euro for a week. We never were able to connect for more than a few minutes at a time and had a very limited signal even though we were only on the 3rd floor. I finally gave up and complained and got the charge removed. Then I had to go to the Business Center to print off boarding passes which ended up costing $5 to rprint 2 pieces of paper. Maybe it's a European thing but Wi-Fi is usually available in any hotel in the US. All in all not a bad stay but it could have been better.
