Hotel Maria Isabel Bogota, Bogota

The curtains didn´t closed absolutely well, and after a night spend there, while a was changing I notice that one of the employee was spying on me! I definitely not recommended!!! Specially if you are woman travelling alone.

We went in January 2009 with a group of 7 people;We stay only one night. The night when we arrived we have a discussion about the price at the front desk. We booked online and verified the check in by phone befor arriving. They changed the price, it was not according the price on the internet and verified by phone. At the restaurant they change my price of my meal. I told them that on the menu card it was written 16.000 pesos and they charge me 20.000 pesos. You have to be very alert and careful. They told there was transportation from the airport, that it was not true. At night you cannot walk outside because it is dangerous. The room was very hot and there was no ventilation; they change the room for one with windows, in de midnight you listen to ambulance and police alarms. I will never go back to this hotel and I do not recommend it to anyone.
