Hotel Marina Palace, Rio de Janeiro

This is a perfect location I would highly recommend for your first visit. Great neigborhood. I thought the hotel was a very good deal and everyone was very helpful. Form the other reviews...just make sure to ask for a newly remodeled room! Mine was very nice.

i loved this place because it was just like totally amazing. i loved it oh so much. im deff glad i picked it. like fo real. juss sayin. if your in the area, i would like highly reccomend it. the pool was gross tho, and the flowers were all fake. juss like barbie. but other then that, it was totally fetch.

Loved the hotel and the price couldn't be better for the location and the hotel staff and services. Leblon is a better beach as it is less crowded and much cleaner than Ipa & Copa, but, you can walk to Ipa if you want. The restaurant on level 2 was nothing special, especially since there are great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. One of the hotel highlights is the roof top bar (on floor 26). Brand new, great drinks, a nice pool and good food. A great place to see the city at its best before heading out at night. The only negative is the rooms need a major overhaul... old, musty and outdated. We were on Floor 14, so maybe the hotel is updating floor by floor. But, who spends time in their room while in Rio?
