I used to go there every year and had the best suite - big, airy, with bamboo furniture and a tile floor; well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. And there was an open air restaurant on the top floor which was wonderful for the splendid breezes coming from the ocean. The beach was fine and the water calm. You get a beach towel for the beach.

I've been staying at the Mo Bay Club during my vacation since 1999. I’ve been blessed to visit twice a year. It's all about what you're looking for. I just want to be close to the beach; Doctor’s Cave is right across the street. I also love to check out the action on the “Hip Strip” also known as the Bottom Road. It’s safe to take a stroll down the street to do your shopping or get something to eat at a number of cafes and restaurants. Margaritaville is down the street, across from the casino if that’s your thing. I've been really lucky to get rooms that are clean with working amenities (cable TV, stove, micro wave, etc). I’ve never encountered the dirty linen thing. Anything I’ve requested has been granted. I have had to follow-up on some request from time to time, however my overall experience has been pleasant. There’s a little market on the level where you can buy some “immediate needs” as well as produce, local newspaper, cigs, etc. If you’re looking for the Ritz, this ain’t it. If you’re there to just “kick it” without a bunch of frills..... and at a reasonable price, this may be the place for you.

Hey it's not the Ritz but it's your own private spot, to people watch, enjoy the beach, and the Hip Strip. You have a view to die for. And for the price and freedom it's well worth it.

At MoBay Club Resort it was evident that the hotel was glorious when it first came into the hotel industry, however, wear and tear is evident and the hotel needs an upgrade. The room is ok, a nice bed, i had a great view of the strip including Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and Doctor's Cave Beach. All in all it was a good place to be. I especially liked the fact that it was built in the side of a hill and at the room's balcony i could see this amazing hill smack in the middle of the hotel.

Montego Bay Club sold me a room with dirty linen. When I asked for more linen, it was as if I'd killed someone. They would not give me more comforters and informed me that they did not wash them. I've been going to Jamaica for 6 years and this is the worst treatment I've ever had!
