BAD MANAGEMENT
By rupert, 4/5/11
Advert said they had wifi, THEY DO NOT. On arrival I was offer a horrible room, even the fan was broken. I asked to see another room and was offer a much better room with an excellent view of the sea. TheY have a restaurant on site with a bar that plays LOUD LOUD music on Wednesdays and Friday nights until 4am in the morning. They have outsider (look like the locals) that pay a fee and enter from an external entrance. Sometime some of the local bring a dozen of do screaming and exited kid to splash around in the small kid Spool, they were really noisy. Because the manager is not around they seem to do as they like. These are the moss horrible thing that stick out in my mind. Take away the noisy restaurant and it was ok

Great location!
By Loretta, 5/16/10
It's a great place for the price, but the house keeping is not the best. I had trash let at my door almost everyday. The best thing about staying there you could walk to all the local clubs if you enjoy the night life. I would stay again only because the price is right.

Stayed in a two bedroom with my son over the Heroes' week-end and enjoyed it. The manager Ms Blake was awesome. Will definately stay here again.

BLAST OF A LIFE TIME :)
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/09
My staying at fisherman's point resort was awsome , me and my friends had a sleep 5 room it was so beautiful we had a balcony that over looking the beach. What i enjoy more about our room it had everything like pots ,plates, books, radio and a dinnig table it had the whole nine yards including a pltio set on the balcony. The most important thing of all it's in the heart of everything like clubs ,restaurants, craft market and couple of minutes away from dunn river fall and more.

my room was on the third floor, with and ocean view. the staff was very nice, especially ernest and shorty. if you party, margaritaville was the best for the night life.it was close to everything shopping, dining, the beach was out back. i can't wait to come again. i have reccomended this resort to all my family and friends. the best spot to be in ocho rios.

Photos Are Deceiving
By Pamela, 1/17/07
Plasture falling from the ceilings. Shortage of towels, sheets, and pillows. No washcloths. Service response very slow. Not enough chairs by pool. Not on the beach.

Nothing fancy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/30/06
This is nothing fancy. The hotel clerk, Candi was very nice. Our first room was on the third floor. Unfortunately, there's no elevator in the establishment which made our first three days uncomfortable. Eventually we upgraded at an extra charge to the first floor the "honeymoon suite" which was much nicer and had a great view of the pier. The grounds man Bobby cooked for us, yummy. He did a great job. Also, we had a driver by the name of Nakia that took us every where our hearts desired.

loved the location/and the premesis
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/5/06
Beach is in the back of the property, easy access, not crowded. The grounds are beautiful with all it's tropical flowers. Pool was nice and clean. The layout of the restaurant/outdoor was great, food could be better and was expensive. Two great night clubs accross the street, next to each other-Margaritaville (the DJ was great). The club next to it even had a Bingo night, this one was more of a restaurant and is outdoor, with a fabulos ocean view. The staff was friendly, and helpful. Be sure to ask for a fully air conditioned unit. We stayed in a one bedroom, and only the bedroom had a/c. And while you're at it ask for ocean view.

Great for travelers on a budget!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/6/06
This is not the classiest hotel, but it is comfortable and clean. Good air conditioning, little kitchnette and utensils, tv, telephone... The best thing about this hotel are 1)it takes 2 minutes to walk to the beach, 2)add another 2 minutes to walk to grocery store, laundry mat, bank, barbershop and hairdresser, fast food restaurants(KFC, Burger King...) and other local restaurants, and mall/souvenir shops, and bars/nightclubs (Margaritaville)3) prices are cheap in the stores. On the beach there are a few locals who offer services such as snorkling, and boat trips, etc... Which is good. You don't have to go to far to have fun and to get all the excursions info (the information desk at the hotel has almost all the details and cost).
