Not a good value for \"high end\" travelers
We rented the Presidential Suite (one of 4 at this hotel) and an adjoining bedroom. Pluses included a very large balcony overlooking the beach, decent sized LR and an (unused by us) kitchen equipped with Viking and SubZero products. Negatives: the one-bedroom Presidential had only one bath (usually the larger suites have an extra powder room for guests) the bathroom was small and not well-appointed at all. Regular tub and small shower, small vanity, etc. Shocking for a brand-new Ritz. In the master BR, the smallish king bed did not allow both people to comfortably watch the small (32") television in the armoir. In addition, the hotel does not have PPV movies (you have to borrow DVDs from the front desk). This may sound whiny, but at $3,700/night plus another $750 in tourism and "service" charges, the value of this particular Ritz was way below that of other locales, notably Manalapan, FL and Palm Springs, CA. Go for the one bedroom suite ($1.200/night) instead - much better value with similar appointments.
This new property is extremely large, but the pool area is not; as other reviewers noted, be prepared to do a lot of walking between the lobby/restaurants and the beachfront. The Spa is great but very expensive, particular given the exchange rate for CI money vs. US dollars.
