Good overall, with one frustration.
I was surprised at how happy I was with the "Dr. Seuss" style arrangement, with stairs going up, down, all around, and paths leading nowhere...kind of left me lost, but keen on exploring.
Well-appointed rooms with post beds and a nice colonial feel. Security seems tight, even out to the beach, which is a nice feeling.
A BIG beef I have is the overpriced and underperforming wireless access! At these prices, I would strongly expect access to be free, or at least blazingly fast! It is neither.
The restaurant offers clever and diverse meals, but, once again, I feel the 'free' continental breakfast is woefully choiceless: Toast, juice, cereal, and milk. If you want eggs (or anything else warm) well, that costs extra...a lot extra.
The highlight of the hotel is simply it's inner atrium and beach access, which gives you the feeling you have escaped the hustle of Bridgetown: everything looks inward, and the inside looks great!
The wading pool in the middle would be a big hit for kids, with tunnels and weaving walkways under large palms.
