Sunrise Beach Club & Villas, New Providence

This was an amazing family place, with the pool, the boardwalk to the beach, the resturant right next to the villas, perfect for people with or without children! Loved having the bar/ food area so close by because I wasn't afraid to send my kids down there by themselves, mind you, they are 16 and 12. It was fantastic, because one thing that my 12 year old "fish" daughter would do, is run with her towel, throw it to me or my husband, and swim in the pool while we walked to the boardwalk. It was great for the kids! Especially ones who love the water. Also, the dining there was phenomenal. We would walk down and order, eat, and the prices and service were fantastic!!! Loved it! Close enough to walk to Atlantis, if you are in shape. If not, there are the Atlantis's' buses driving very VERY close to the villas/ hotel. Stayed a day at the Atlantis waterpark, but thats another reeview :) Thank you Sunrise Beach Club!!!! Loved staying there! Phenomenal! Five- Star Rating.

We stayed in a one bedroom condo, privately owned. It was clean, well equiped, furnished nicely. We complained about the stained mattress on the pullout couch. 2 days later we found that it had been covered with a mattress pad. Everything else was fine. Beautiful ocean and beach. Close enough to float to Atlantis if you wanted to. Pool was clean and quiet. If you bring children, the beach is unprotected, and at times rough. Strong undercurrent. The vendors on the beach can be annoying. We must all look alike, because day after day the same ones come by hawking their goods. If you are visiting for the first time as we were, read the reviews. Bring food. Groceries are expensive. Watch out for scam artists, at grocery store and pharmacy type places. We ate out quite a lot and were not impressed with the food. We didn't like the fish fry. Conk fritters are good, but not so much for everyday. Senior Frogs in Nassau had the best food. All in all we enjoyed our stay. The employees at Sunrise were all very nice. Service in their restaurant was very slow and the food was just ok. If your choice of beverage is beer, go to another island - $18.00 for a 6 pack of Corona! Drink rum!

This place was awesome for a family. quite and perfect for kids to enjoy without any University Spring breakers. Convenient shopping and walking to Altantis was a ten minutes away. I did not have anything to dislike. a four star rating.

Loved this place, stayed here with 13 girls for a bachelorette party and it was great, pool, beach, altlantis, and one and only ocean club are just feet away...fun bar, good for snacks, drinks....great trip!

great location and beach was fantastic. 7 or 8 minute walk to casino or marina shops. The office staff was very friendly. Drinks at Viola's were fairly inexpensive and Archies on the beach was convenient to get a beer or daiquiri. For a great breakfast go to Anthony's(again about a 7-8 minute walk) Having the kitchen was great for leftovers or if you can,bring some dry goods with you such as pasta, cereal etc. This was our fourth trip to the area, twice to cable beach and now twice to paradise island. Would definitely go back to Sunrise. The unit we were in could have used a paint job, but was clean, cool,and had nice view of pool. Try the snorkeling at Stuart Cove- the reefs were unbelievable. Again keep in mind food costs are very high and cabs could get expensive but the Sunrise can save you with the kitchen and ability to walk to many locations. Our teenage son loved Carmines and was glad to get burgers at Johnny Rockets for a change of pace, Can't wait to go back next year.

Just came back from annual "girlfriend" trip , This was our first time in Paradise Island and the Sunrise Villas. The location was awesome! Nothing like waking up each day to the tourqoise blue water of the sea. The villa was nice, needed some work, but the view made up for it. the staff was pleasant and very accomadating. The bar was fun, wish it opened earlier in day. I would highly recommend this resort instead of the Atlantis, which is right next door.. so you can visit the Atlantis but have the quiet, peaceful vacation of the villas.
