Crowne Plaza Golf Resort Casino, Freeport

well, here it is 2010 and our favorite vacation spot is still not up and running. we now go to Nassau, but its not the same. Miss all the wonderful people who made our stay at the Crowne Plaz so wonderful. So someone please fixt this area up.......

we love this resort loved everything it we would go 2-3 times a year a group of 25 or move form Richmond please hope someone can REOPEN it some day soon JOHN B is MISSED deeply

the staff ignored us the pool was dirty and the beach had bad sand

Stayed here with my Aunt and a friend 3 or 4 years years ago. What a wonderful time we had. The staff were really friendly and even helped us locate a wheelchair for my Aunt. The restaurant food was o.k. but we found a restaurant at the international bazaar that had great food and great prices too. We ended up eating breakfast there everyday. Sometimes lunch and/or dinner too. Large portions so we each ordered something different and shared. The conch chowder was to die for. Loved shopping at the bazaar. Easy to bargain with. There were a few shops out on the hotel lanai too. Sure miss the place since it was damaged by the hurricanes. We already had our reservations to return when it was hit again. I wish they would fix it up again. It was such a bargain and everyone was so nice. Went on the Bahama Mama cruise. Highly reccomend it.

My husband and I have gone to Freeport for over 25 years and at least twice a year. We started taking our grown adults with us. There were times that the whole trip down included 30 of us. We are crushed that a stupid hurricane destroyed our family holiday place. We miss it a great deal. People were friendly, food great. It was like we had our own private island. We now go to Nassau for our holidays. Not the same and never will be. Hey, lets get our island back to normal and start building it up again. I am sure alot of people miss it and it sure would help all the island people start a life again. We keep hearing all the news about it rebuilding, but its been over 3 years, and nothing is happening. We had the best times there and many memories were created. We liked the laid back style and lets face it, with all the rushing around we Americans do, its time to kick back and really relax. Freeport let us do that!!!! We just wish all the Bahamians all the best of luck getting things back to norma. From your Cleveland, Oh biggest fans!!!!!

If you stay here got to the bar and find out where Louie is. He is the best bartender out there. I have great pics.

I went to this destination on a family trip. I never felt so spoiled in my life with, the gorgeous fountain as you walk into the building. The bellhops working around the clock to make sure everything is ok and the people were so nice. Not to metion that it was connected next to the International Bazzar and The Royal Caribbean Resort, which is where all the parties happen. Once it reopens I will take my new family there. Hopefully this is soon.

people were very friendly. Have visited many times before. Good ratings at casino and able to fly through ratings at the casino This year we would like to take our children now that they have improved the pool area. We have stayed both the casino side and the golf side and would like to try a suite this time.

We loved the outdoor slide pool. The temperature was perfect.The slide was teriffic. My granddaughter learned to float in the pool. I was there in 03 with the American travel convention. When we were busy with meetings, the children were able remain with the kid group and they loved it. We took the bus into the city and lunched at Wendy's but also the children could eat free at the hotel. Very picturesque.Wonderful service.My grandson wanted to move there.Also, the weather was terrific.

I was traveling on a low budget and found lots to do for very little money. The service is not the best but this is just one of those things that I laugh about when I think of what a great time I had. The food was great the pool is the best. You just have to have an open mind when traveling to these Islands. Was a great vacation for the money!!!
